Currently the Company has a total strength of 935 permanent employees. Apart from this we have also engaged employees on a contractual basis and on-need basis.
Mr. S. V. Vaidya,President
Vaidya is a Bachelor in Civil Engineering from the University of Pune. He has an experience of 40 years in the Technical and Administrative departments. He was associated with the project for construction of Rihand Bridge near Varanasi, which was completed in a record time of 6 months. To his credit he acted as a Technician for many Heavy Civil Works, Sub-marine Pipelines, Dredging, Anchors, Diaphragm Walls and Pile Foundations. He has been associated with Gayatri Projects Limited since 1992 as General Manager and is currently the President of the Company.
Mr. C. Satyanarayana,Sr. Executive Director
Satyanarayana has a Doctorate in Philosophy from the international university, Harmong College of Applied Sciences, a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Delhi and a Bachelors in Engineering from Kakinada Engineering College. He gained experience in construction and irrigation projects, while working with the Department of Andhra Pradesh Irrigation & Power and Andhra Pradesh Construction Corporation till 1982, when he joined Gayatri Projects Limited as Chief Executive. Currently he is the Senior Executive Director and in-charge of the irrigation division.
Mr. P. Sreedhar Babu,Chief Finance Officer
Sreedhar is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He started his career as a Practicing Chartered Accountant in 1987 and after 18 years of practice he joined GPL in 2005 as Vice-President, Finance. He is currently looking after the financial and accounting matters of the Company.
Mr S. N. Prasad,President (EPC Division)
Prasad has a Bachelors in Civil Engineering from Patna University and is Fellow Member of the Institute of Engineers, and the Indian Council of Arbitration. He has over 36 years of experience in the field of Industrial Engineering. He joined GPL as Head of EPC division in 2008.
Mr K. G. Naidu,Vice President (Finance)
K. G. Naidu is a Fellow Member of the Chartered Accountants of India. He started his career with Deccan Chronicle, a leading newspaper in Andhra Pradesh, and after 15 years of service there, he joined GPL in 2007. He is looking after the financial and accounting matters of the SPV Companies and proposed FCCB matters.
Ms. I. V. Lakshmi,Company Secretary & Compliance Officer
Lakshmi is a Graduate from Andhra University, LLB from Osmania University, CAIIB from the Indian Institute of Bankers and an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. She has 8 years of experience in the field of Secretarial and Legal work. She received a Gold Medal Award from the then Andhra Pradesh Governor Dr. C. Ranga Rajan for good performance in ICSI Intermediate Examinations. She is responsible for the overall Secretarial functions and for compliance with the Listing Agreement as a Compliance Officer.
