Milestones
1975: Established a partnership firm.
1989-90: Incorporation of the Company as “Andhra Coastal Construction Private Limited” on September 15, 1989 in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
1993-94: Changed name to Gayatri Projects Limited w.e.f. March 31st, 1994.
1994-95: Converted into a Public Limited Company w.e.f. December 2nd 1994; took over the assets and liabilities of Gayatri Engineering Company.
1996-97: Completed the construction of ‘S’ bund and platforms at Kakinada Port Project, funded by ADB; shifted the registered office from Andhra Pradesh to Maharashtra.
1997-98: Entered into a Joint Venture with IJM Corp, Berhad, Malaysia.
2005-06: Awarded the ISO 9001:2000 and Q9001-2000 Quality Certificates by Amercian Quality Assurance International, LLC, USA.
2006-07: Awarded 2 contracts on BOT annuity basis by NHAI in Uttar Pradesh in JV.
2007-08: The Company successfully made private placement of JPY3,080,000,000 Zero Coupon Convertible Bonds.
2008-09: Our Subsidiary Company M/s. Gayatri Infra Ventures Limited received Foreign Equity Investment of Rs.100 crores from M/s. AMP Capital Finance Mauritius Limited against acquisition of 29.41% equity shares; the company won three major work orders – ORR project (Rs. 324 crores), Dummugudem project (Rs 1088 crores), Chintalpudi lift irrigation project (Rs 1118 crores).
2010-11: Awarded the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Certificates by Amercian Quality Assurance International, LLC, USA.
