Mr. G Venkteswara Rao, Sr. Vice President - Irrigation

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering and brings over 25+ years of extensive experience across Railway, Industrial, Road, and Power Plant projects. He joined GPL in 1987 and has since gained rich and diverse experience in project execution, operational management, and infrastructure development.


He currently heads the Irrigation Division and is also responsible for overseeing specific industrial projects. In his role, he provides strategic and operational leadership for project planning and execution, coordinates with key stakeholders, and ensures effective management of resources, project timelines, quality, and execution priorities.

Mr. K S Reddy, Sr. Vice President - Transportation

He is a Post Graduate from the Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) and brings over 32+ years of rich and diverse experience in the Construction and Infrastructure sector, with extensive exposure to strategic planning, project management, cost control, budgeting, and project performance management.


With strong experience in managing multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams, he has demonstrated expertise in driving project governance, monitoring project performance, controlling costs, and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.


He currently heads the Project Monitoring & Control Department, providing strategic oversight on project planning, progress monitoring, cost management, budgeting, risk assessment, and performance control. He plays a key role in enabling timely decision- making, identifying project deviations, and driving corrective actions to ensure projects are delivered within the approved cost, schedule, and performance parameters.

Mr. M.V. Suresh, Sr. Vice President - Roads

He holds a B.Tech. degree in Civil Engineering and brings over 20+ years of extensive experience in major highway, infrastructure, and construction projects, with strong expertise in project planning, design, execution, and overall project management.


He is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across the project lifecycle, from conceptualization, feasibility, and strategic design through detailed planning, execution, monitoring, and successful completion. He drives project delivery within defined parameters of cost, quality, safety, contractual commitments, and timelines.


His experience includes managing multidisciplinary project teams, coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders, identifying and mitigating project risks, resolving critical execution issues, and ensuring effective deployment of resources. He plays a pivotal role in maintaining project progress, strengthening execution efficiency, and delivering projects in line with organisational objectives and business commitments.
